Expand state support for military families.
Work with our federal delegation and fellow members of the legislature to hold the VA accountable.
Strengthen our state mental health and suicide prevention programs for veterans.

Active Representation:

Visible Leadership, A New Approach to East DeKalb & South Gwinnett

Transparency and accountability through legislative updates, conversations with constituents surrounding key votes, and listening to the people I serve.
East DeKalb & South Gwinnett have been neglected for far too long. In the legislature, I will be a voice for the ignored.
Year-round community service and engagement through regular office hours and town halls.

Climate Change:

A Sustainable, Prosperous, & Beautiful Georgia

Invest in clean energy and infrastructure while creating good-paying and sustainable jobs.
Support local efforts to preserve and create community green spaces, and work with the state to prepare for climate impacts and natural disasters adequately.
Promote energy efficiency and clean infrastructure in our homes, schools, and transit systems.

Housing:

Affordable & Within Reach for Everyone

Support protections for renters from abuse and displacement.
Promote first-time homeownership through state-backed assistance and incentives.
Work to confront the housing crisis head-on by holding corporate landlords accountable and investing in smart, quality development that respects local input.

Infrastructure & Transportation:

Connecting Communities, Strengthening Georgia

Expand access to quality and reliable public transportation to reduce traffic congestion and to keep up with metro Atlanta’s population growth.
Invest in safer roads, sidewalks, and bike paths on state routes, especially in unincorporated, underserved communities such as Centerville and unincorporated DeKalb.
Bring broadband internet access to every home and school in the state of Georgia.
